Ghost. Uses Markdown for blogging, decent.
here's my random setup.
Try my "one-click" auto setup scripts on GitHub:
(Choose either ModSecurity or Naxsi)
https://hexo.io
Definitely ghost
ghost or octopress
I just use wordpress but the above make sense
http://hexo.io, http://ghost.org and http://anchorcms.com
I still use Jekyll. It's pretty damned difficult to hack a site that doesn't care what your request contains.
Well you can compare it on OpenShift https://hub.openshift.com/quickstarts/tags/blog
Mine: https://hub.openshift.com/quickstarts/219-htmly (pretty fast cracked to the top list for each tag).
@edan - HTMLy looks nice - excellent default theme there - very attractive. Yeah, openshift is great, that's a real plus that it's easily installed to openshift.. may check it out if I have a bit of time. Thanks for posting.
My vote is in for ghost; super simple, super nice.
Awesome! How can I create two blogs on my VPS? I'm not family with Naxsi/ModSecurity.
Jekyll is on GitHub's front page: https://github.com/blog/2100-github-pages-now-faster-and-simpler-with-jekyll-3-0
I'm wondering if half the appeal is that it's running on Github and is static and it works in those constraints/it's different/internet street cred vs. yet another wordpress blog.
That's Twenty Sixteen actually, the WP 2016 default theme, GPL so I can use it as the default theme for it.
Select one of the two scripts to install Ghost blog, but not both. Choose either ModSecurity or Naxsi. They are Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) that could help protecting your website from "bad" requests.
If you were asking about installing multiple blogs on one VPS - No, the script does not yet have that feature.
Ghost blog, it is very easy to use and has plenty of tuts for it.
