  • Thanks. Might be good for a test server.

  • Failz. "The Xeon E3-1230 servers can support up to a maximum of 2 hard drives per/machine. "

  • they offer 1 time fee for hardisk and memory :D

I love how volumedrive was so cheap that there was no way they could possibly sustain their business, less than a year ago. Now they almost look expensive. Quite an interesting change we've seen since this summer.

  • Is it just me or is their E3 price $64.95/mo but then changes to 74.95 once you're in checkout?

  • They still didn't get their client area online -.-

  • @joodle, they don't have clients. They have a revolving door.

Lured by what use to be low prices, people soon find subpar service and run for the gates.

Their customer churn rate has to be hideously high.

If you don't mind a little packet loss every now & then they're not that bad, but the problem is that their prices didn't scale with their quality over the last year. Better quality is now more affordable than their offerings.

  • Agree @jarland.

Used them for a few months. A VPS from them. Was interesting. Certainly a market leader in the practice of massively overselling resources they don't have.

  • VolumeDrive servers aren't that cheap anymore, As @jarland said.
