Question about network speed / bandwidth on a VPS.

  • Depends on usage. For a website since there are peak hours, 1Gbps is a good option. For other purpose like real time streaming backup, 100Mbps seems to be good as well.

    Each time I start migrating my websites to another server I wish I'd get a Gbps because transferring 100GB+ of files on 100Mbps is so slow.
