Yes. Sign up for the service, and then install the client.
If that didn't work for you, you should be a little more detailed.
Neither are natively supported in cPanel.
We have added some experimental support for ObjSpace for native cPanel backups as well as VestaCP
It's kind of a pain, because the right thing to do is to use the cPanel backup to create backups, and then let BB or CP pick them up.
Of course, if your server or VPS only has X amount of space, and you're staging your backups on it, you effectively have X/2 space (not quite, things are compressed, but you see my point).
I prefer to SFTP from cPanel to somewhere (which cPanel will automate for you) and then do any further backups there. That way you only need to have sufficient staging space for the biggest backup because cPanel will backup, SFTP, and then delete each in sequence for you.
Or you do some kind of sshfs/nfs/etc. mount.
This is pretty LowEndcPanel stuff. Big shops mount NAS locally, have dedicated backup drives, etc.
We have some customers using hashbackup on ObjSpace for this, they just backup /home and dump the databases and back those up as well.
Mounting a NAS is fraught with problems and also doesn't give any separation in case the server is compromised and someone does rm -rf /
...but it can.
This is crude, but on my backup server, incoming backup accounts are forced to internal sftp and there is a cron job that chown/chmods files every 5 minutes to something that the backup account can't modify or delete. Purges are done on the backup server.
Is there any manual configuring the client for backup after installation?
