Please check: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
There you go.
Lol good point, but don't want people to overcharge you would ya.
Hello
Nothing interesting + recent..
What location?
Hello
Uhhhhh US?
Dual L5520s with 8GB ram. I got 5 in LA. Rails etc no SSDs
L5520s? Those processors are ancient xD
Edit: not ancient but I personally hate them, and i need SSDs on 2 servers. I only use l5520s on useless crap or backups.
If you really want I could part with some L5420s
(Facepalm)
E3s would be nice..
E3/E5 and "lowend" pricing don't fit in the same sentence haha good luck :-)
Hello
Or alternatives to that, similar performance. By Lowend I mean not overcharged... It's used(I think) hardware after all.
So you want a new & decent system for the price of an old server? Not going to happen
Never said new, kinna want the HDs to be semi-new..
There aren't much new-ish Quad 3.1GHz+ CPUs out there other than E3 - 32GB RAM limit.
If you want 64GB RAM then the options are older L/X-series CPUs or E5. These use quite a bit of power and probably won't have the clock you need. (Other than the frequency-optimized E5s)
I'll work with the offers I get, assuming I get at least one. If I get E5s I'll just maximize the performance with 256 GB RAM and a few TB SSDs... maybe..
What's your budget. Per server.
How about an offer first eh?
I'm asking on behalf the community. Judging on your posts, it might not be worth it, anyone making an offer. Especially with your "lowend" budget
Have a great day!
Hello
No specific budget range, maybe under $600-1000?
Per server?
Supermicro 1U X7DVL-3 2x Intel Xeon E5410 2.33GHz Quad Core 12GB $70/ea + $84 for 2* 120GB SSD
Op require Quad core @3.1GHz+
Get off ebay
`
Youll need a budget closer to 1000
Why would a chair hosting company need servers? Weird.

BUT!!! CATZ
Needs to host a db for the stock, duhh
I don't know where you found that, but that's hilarious.
