SolusVM Master: I set wrong hostname.

In the past, I often ignore hostname so I just fill it by my mind.

On my SolusVM Master, I filled "solusvm" as hostname.

Then I see when I click "VNC" in SolusVM

It shows "http://solusvm:xxxx/.....................", the hostname...

I changed the hostname in the OS, but it didn't fix this.

Are there any ways to fix this, without reinstalling SolusVM Master?

Have you gone to List Nodes -> Edit Symbol next to master node and edited the hostname field here?

Maybe the fact that you can't read? He didn't put solusvm.domain.tld, he just put "solusvm".

  • the fact is I can't read :D

It's still early in 2016, you have time to make a resolution

  • good advice, it'll be along the line "gotta learn to read" and "don't fall asleep half-way reading" :D

you can still access via IP address, as for changing the hostname on centos, google for the answer, plenty tutorials available.
