Of course it is possible to run two VMs on this hardware and with one IP address. You will have to utilize NAT.

lxc is probably by far the easiest. It already had NAT enabled for me on Ubuntu. lxc-create lxc-start lxc-attach , dont remember if network settings have to be adjusted.
