Cheap VPS with free DA
Again, usual disclaimer, never used them, not working for them, not affiliated with them, use it at your own risk.
Saw this deal on WHT:

European locations, but free DA (with yearly payment) at 2.50 Euro per month might sound like a good idea for those who don't like to use command lines...
May be another pump-and-dump?
Comments
That implies to me that it's an additional €5 per month on top of the monthly price, or they're just trying to confuse me..
@zhuanyi @Infinity It says:
Kinda misleading. I'd avoid anyway.
DA licenses cost $5/mo to them so they'll make a loss on the first plan which doesn't make sense since 30EUR = ~$40
I think if you pay monthly, you need to pay extra for DA, for yearly payments, DA is free.
I remembered with Newwebsite.com in 2009 or so.
They offer 512MB XEN/OpenVZ with DirectAdmin license
But sometimes the vps is lagging, not responsive, and rebooted automatically
Isn't that the autoboot feature?
They offer 512MB XEN/OpenVZ with DirectAdmin license
And they charge slightly more than this one, if I remembered correctly they were charging close to the LEB upper limit (7USD per month, might be 6, I don't remember)
AutoBOOT™ @DewlanceVPS
They might have owned licenses which would then allow them to charge the low prices.
They also got 50% discount
_http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1202162&highlight=Newwebsite
It's just $7 with the DA license.
But if we go with the 50% discount, we won't get the DA for free
For the first 3 months only
Come on, they have to make a buck to live... Not everyone sells at a pure loss
M
This is dediserv.eu, so not pumpanddump.
@AsadHaider
AutoBoot®™
Thanks, We will registered this as a our company slogan
Why is that so? They've been around for a long time?
@DewlanceVPS Sorry boss..
Domain registered since 2006 and Limited company in Poland so can only see they are a long lasting company
-nevermind-
SSL cert expired 28-9-2012 for their homepage:
https://www.dediserv.eu/
Anyways, I am thinking about just trying one for a year. 30 euro is less then a spare DA license and might be a win if it works out.
other company - dedisrv != dediserv
Thanks, deleted.
It's recurring
PS: I haven't read their offer, lol They said 50% off for 3 months
Yeah, Dino Strzeminski is around since beginning of internet. Or even longer :P Many many moons ago I used his hosting service (he owned Hostineuro before Marcin got it somewhere around 2009). I don't remember much about service under his management anymore but it was worth of price I paid for. He's doing this longer than most LEB hosts I know and he's not "summer host" for sure.
Nobody tried it?
More (legal) info about company, registration number, VAT number... http://www.100tb.eu/about-powerful-dedicated-servers.php and public details about company owner http://maxihost.pl/en/about-us/ (don't click URLs inside - they redirect to wrong ad hosted domain).
As reason for his departure from Hostineuro (without any negative effect for customers - I was one of them) in 2009 was stated growth of his other business ("Dediserv Dedicated Servers" most likely).
I am not familiar with quality of his service today however offer seems really good and no negative reviews so far so I am also tempted to try one of his .nl locations (what do we know about EUNetworks DC?).
Evoswitch is leaseweb, decent company, dunno eunetworks much though.
huh? Dino has no servers in EUNetworks, only PLIX Warsaw (BW: PLIX), Leaseweb/Evoswitch Harlem (BW: Leaseweb) and Equinix Düsseldorf (BW: no idea)
@william topic states 4 locations and then lists 5 on wht topic...
apparently he have now.
EvoSwitch DC, Haarlem, Netherlands.
Equinix DC, Dussledorf, Germany
GlobalSwitch DC, Frankfurt, Germany
Lukman DC, Warsaw, Poland
EUNetworks DC, Amsterdam, Netherlands
All of them are also listed and available in ordering system. He said that he can provide IPv6 in EUNetworks.
I recieved EUNX vps. Nothing about DA yet (I need to open support ticket, guess) however server performance and network latency (directly over lambdanet to AS13237/EUNX ) to me is excellent.
