Their intermediate certificate is not working on Windows XP due to an invalid certificate name error, not because of ciphers. Until they replace that intermediate cert it will keep being broken.
Just moved to https using https://gethttpsforfree.com/ . That green lock looks sexy
Thank You Let'sEncrypt!!!

All SSL has green padlock, do you ever saw another color?
I called it sexy just because I love it so much ;-)
Hehe green padlock kolor ijo
It might take off pretty strongly if big shared web host include it in their panel in a easy way to setup
Same bullshit, side view, in fact. It takes a minute to regenerate the certificate, even with their cryptic scipt.
7.8 seconds for me https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/maximum-and-minimum-certificate-lifetimes/264/248
Nay, I am hardcore command-line old-schooler. I run it by typing manually.
BUT 1 yr long with wosign...
It takes 7 seconds to renew. Per domain, per server. Not included: restarting webserver, testing, ...
Or StartSSL. I like experimenting.
StartSSL is an okay option too, just more cumbersome to use than WoSign.
Aye, but their authenticaton sequence and overall site structure is definitely designed by alien logic.
Well the LE certs are useless to me now as Safari on iOS doesn't trust them.
Right, I did use them when there was no free alternative that I knew of, but WoSign is more easy.
No problem with wosign/startssl?
What part of "this is not viable if you are providing a service to an unknown set of users" do you not understand?
I'm gonna check them out now. I looked at WoSign but I don't like the Chinese Engrish on their site lol.
Dang, Nginx on Jessie returns:
No installers seem to be present and working on your system; fix that or try running letsencrypt with the "certonly" command
https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/please-support-wildcard-certificates/258
like this for wildcard support^^^^^^^
https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/pros-and-cons-of-90-day-certificate-lifetimes/4621
^^^^ and this for longer cert lifetime
Uh Thu, 03 Mar 2016 19:09:00 UTC (expires in 2 months and 27 days)
-.- don't create certificates for the lulz, there is some sort of rate limit
I was wondering if the "accounts" mean anything. Does anyone happen to know? https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/does-the-account-matter/5634
It's funny, let's encrypt is using a comodo cert, valid for one year. Maybe they don't want to renew every 3 months?
Too many certificates already issued for: linuxthefish.net
Can't even create certs for all my subdomains...
5 per domain (including subdomains) every 7 days .. xD
https://blog.namecheap.com/ssl-from-namecheap-whats-the-difference/
xD the SSL orders must have decreased dramatically by then already, with everyone waiting for letsencrypt
Can't pay $9/yr for WinXP compatibility? Pleeeease ...
Does not support SNI anyway from what I understood.
