Connect and controll multiple VPSs via SSH

Hi,
First of all, I don't have any experience of knowledge in this area, I have 16 VPSs in one single dedicated server (Virtualized it with proxmox VE 4.0) and I want to for example, start a batch file with one single command (the batch file is in the same directory in every VPS) and edit a .iim file or a .txt file in a way that I don't need to connect in each VPS and change it manually,
And I think this is possible with ssh, but I don't even know what ssh is or means... I googled to find some awnsers but I didn't find anything.

I would really apreciate if you could help me out :D

Thanks a lot!

Royal ts(x) has an option to broadcast input to all open sessions. It's not free tho (30 euro's) i've been using it for years it's well worth the price.
