Super Cheap Storage VPS: any time4vps alternative?
Hi
Hunting for a storage VPS with around 500 GB storage & 512 MB RAM, I'd like to know if there are other offers similar in pricing to what @time4vps does offer in their "storage" line that I'd have to consider?
Any country in EU would be fine, even outside EU, location doesn't really matter.
Romania could be cool, maybe @cociu have plans for a cool deal in close future?
Any host worth checking out?
Thanks!

2bb3 let do something
I have 1TB RAID10/SATA-3 storage @ $16.00/mo not quite as cheap as time4vps but your secure from data loss @2bb3
@2bb3 anyway you should open your email too becajuse we just send a good offer to all our customers and if you are "smart" you can buy any packages with 50% off for many months/years
@Infinity probably has something
Do you mean he isn't secure from data loss with Time4VPS?
Why do you mention him in every second storage thread? He has no public offers at LET, so what flag does he fly?
O no no, I'm not to sure if they have a disclaimer or not, I was just speaking on myself and IgniteServers.
You can find dedicated servers at similar prices and better specs than you'd get from vps sellers.
https://www.wholesaleinternet.net/dedicated/ is out of stock on plan 3. dacentec(2 tb afaik) used to go for $20/m and delimiter 500gb goes for $20/m.
there's also kimsufi plans, but they are rare to get.
They use RAID6
I wonder how $2 can be similar to $15 at LET…
We have 512mb ram, 1TB BW and 500gb raid 10 HDD Storage for $7/m in Dallas if that's in anyway close to what you're willing to spend?
Nice try, just visit http://www.time4vps.eu/, they offer OVZ 500GB RAID-6 SSD-C storage for $2/m.
And is it your storage VPS based on KVM virt?
No boss, but it's a dedicated with more resources. It can also serve more functions(which might not be wanted by all from a backup server, I admit).
But yeah, I didn't remember t4vps' prices.
Yep, I take your point.
Not very close in that case I agree. Ours is KVM virt yes.
Thanks everyone for your input.
Seems that time4vps is unbeatable for the kind of VPS they offer, great possibilities with other providers for a little more money, but as of now my budget is quite tight.
A small dedi (or even a KVM) would allow more privacy for sure than openvz.
did anyone already mention zxhost ask @AshleyUk maybe he can help.
They are reliable, KVM + unmetered BW, but price tag is not close too.
"wink" maybe ashley tempts us with a low price next week.
So tempted to push out a low-end US OpenVZ storage plan. Our KVM storage VPS are a different class of product but maybe a non-HA OpenVZ based could come in dirt cheap.
Any interest?
hi Mark, you can off course, maybe wait till next week when paying for good deals from good providers is without a hesitation. Looking forward for the dedi's thou
@ehab - I think there will be some pre-Black Friday offers but I think these will hit Twitter first.
@MarkTurner , can you please hit me... but not like what @raindog308 did to me

@MarkTuner hit me too
Ayup. Your other product is interesting but this also sounds promising.
Yes!!
If you can make it cheap I think that it wouldn't be hard to find interested people
My dream storage VPS is ~500GB, is lower ram / cpu, much higher bandwidth. 10TB/mo or more. ipv6 only is fine. $5/month tops.
But I have a 2GB/500GB/100mbit/s (~32TB/mo?) kimsufi for £10/quarter, I guess that can't really be beaten.
