Samsung Note 5 Vs LG V10
I broke my nexus5 and I am looking to upgrade.
I want to know your thoughts on what phone should I select between these two? I have used Samsung/ LG devices before.
I like rooting my phone and installing custom ROMs, coming from the Nexus family.
Any thoughts?

I'd say go with Nexus 6P then, or if you want it to be one of those two devices (Note 5 or V10), the V10 is probably cheaper full retail and has a removable battery + MicroSD Card slot.
The Exynos processor in the Note 5 is superior though, and probably drives the 1440p screen more effectively and with more FPS than Snapdragon's 808, but Touchwiz....
It's up to you at the end of the day, but my recommendation is Nexus 6P or V10.
