About SoYouStart

Hi,
I have purchased an dedicated server from SoYouStart, with 3x 120GB SSD.
But I've noticed that I only have 1x 120GB SSD usable, I mean, when I'm reinstalling a OS, it shows the partitions menu which says that I only have 120000MB (and it even isn't 120GB -.- ) I don't understand, does somebody as the same issue?

Comments

  • not issue. .raid 1 or 0 uses 2 disk.

Change raid level to raid 5 (capacity of 2 SSDs) or raid 0 (capacity of all 3 SSDs, but if one fail you will lose all data)

Do you know how I can change it?
I think raid level is set to 1

What to I need to do in order to use at list 2 disks?
I also have a checkbox above saying "Check if you want to install the OS only on 1 disk"

BTW if you put on language as English and pm the screenshot I may be able to help

  • I'll pm you with the screen shot :)

  • RAID 5 using all 3 SSD see my sig. I don't think you can do this using OVH's partitioner.
