DV SSL "brand verification"

We sometimes order SSL certificates for clients cia GoGetSSL. We usually get the PositiveSSLs. An increasing number seem to be subject to "brand verification", basically meaning it takes a week for them to issue it. There's nothing dodgy about our company, the customer's company, our IP address etc.

Has anyone else had this and can we do anything to stop this happening so often, other than trying a different CA?

    +1

I have my doubts towards a point you mentioned. I doubt it will ever stop. Maybe for some ransom fee or who knows?

  • I've seen this happen, mostly with .com.au domains, and only when I was using Enom and their RapidSSL, never seen it since moving to GoGetSSL and PosotiveSSL from Comodo
