Any good linux scripts/web interfaces/GUIs for backing up to a remote server?
Hey all -
Anyone know of some decent scripts, web interfaces or GUIs that will backup directories on a remote server to the current server?
I have tried CDP.me, but ran into countless errors and I don't think the script is still in development.
Thanks all!

@Yoda what errors did you encounter with CDP.me?
I made a github issue on one of the errors, but I also ran into -
Can provide logs/whatever, I'd love to have cdp working! PM me if needed.
edit: errors on debian 8 and ubuntu 14.04, tried both

@PetaByet
I installed cdp on debian7
There maybe some bugs:
chown -R www-data:www-data /v[by pass cloudflare]ar/www
]I tried to update google authenticator to latest version but no luck.

Thanks all for recommendations. I'll take a look at them all when I get home!
I do all my backups to remote servers with rsnapshot and a retention of at least 30 days. Works flawless since years and I would never change if I don't have to.

Anyone tried Mega as a backup? It gives 50GB free which is great for backups unless your content is liked by NSA.

There was a recent discussion about its founder who is/was Kim Dotcom or who and what kind of a controversial person he is.
Some claimed to have their files still on mega remain after years and so on, while others told fairy tales of conspiracy and such.
So who nose.
Mega storage is encrypted, right?
I believe so, but you never know.

Go with Idera CDP and you should have no more issues.
