When I asked the name.com live support for a renewal price once, they asked me which site I am visiting them from. The apparent miserable quality of outsourced support and the relatively high prices (nothing there seems to be cheaper than elsewhere?) made me go somewhere else

What a crappy "special", .com is cheaper at https://internetbs.net/domain_names_usd.html, .net is almost the same.
