Paying for SEO or Twitter ads etc isn't a requirement for having a successful forum.

Paying isn't a requirement for anything. You can always build your own house for example if you can. What paying does is save a lot of time and gets you expertise if you don't have it.

Honestly dude, how many websites have you seen... in the last year!... to have all content centered? It's just upsetting to the eyes, it's not a preference.

  • Create drama(s) like LET's, the more the merrier. If you don't have one, create some.

Don't forget to post those drama's thread on other similar interest forums, with link to your forum.

Alamak !!! Camne tu. Tak boleh lah.

  • I didn't read through all the comments, but I believe that if you put in good content, or start a great vision as to what your website should have, people who's actually interested on that topic, as well as intrigued with what your site has to offer, they'll actually come.

I don't believe in using a lot of money as far as pay per post, etc. I still believe with the 'word of mouth'

Let people start talking about your site, don't do all the "talking" for them by giving out too much incentives, causing you to pull a lot of money out of your own pocket.
