Ya they have been doing that for a while.
Almost all of their ads are of that promo. It leads to alot of wtf/scam posts when they ask for ID
Hrm, so it's possible that this is some sort of affiliate coupon? I've not seen the 1c ones before, just 20%. But now come to think of it doing a Google search for it turns up a fair amount of spam.

To my knowledge you can generate your own code and apply them.
I guess you're a sucker for cheap or free stuff. Did you ever stop and think that other people need to make a living as well? By the way, isn't Hostgator the company that WHMCS was using to host their stuff before they got hacked? They where bringing in millions of dollars every month and paying like $300 a month for hosting. I guess when you're cheap you get what you pay for.

@ihatetonyy Lame excuse, they where not hosted on any server, but a "Secured" server. When someone can do it over the phone like that, that's not secure at all. WHMCS sucks as a company, Hostgator sucks, and as I understand the Low End Talk guidelines they don't even qualify as a Low End VPS provider so what the hell are we doing talking about them here?
