Cheap (under $12/yr) VPS's with Dedicated IPv4

mike0000mike0000 Member
edited October 2015 in Requests

I'm trying to compile a list of providers that offer the cheapest VPS's with a dedicated IPv4 - so excluding all the LES-style NAT providers. Specs don't matter as long as it can boot an OS and has at least some bandwidth included (64MB ram, 2GB hdd, 50-100GB bw).

I know I'm missing some, but looking for any/all recommendations for providers & deals that are currently available/in stock - as well as a word on the quality of the service.

A few I know about:

  • SecureDragon ($10 - 64MB/3GB/250GB)
  • MooseVZ ($5.50 - 128MB/5GB/100GB)
  • BudgetVZ (4 Eur - 128MB/10GB/500GB)
  • ImpactVPS ($12 - 512MB/10GB/500GB)
  • HostUS ($10 - 768MB/20GB/2TB)

Currently out of stock/no longer offering plans for the price:

  • Dacentec
  • Berry.pw
  • XVMLabs
  • BandwagonHost

    I wonder if I can sneak a /29 allocation for $30/year...

    (hint: obviously not IP hoarding)

I don't think it's possible. A /29 is effectively 8 IP addresses. It's not likely anyone can make $2.5 for 8 IP addresses per month.

  • Just saying -- $6/year is a good price to stack and horde IPs.

Aha, got what you meant. That's correct. The pricing is incredibly low.

    I've got 2 XVMLabs plans with 7 IPs each for $10 & $5/yr - so $15/yr for ~/28 :P

But yeah, unless he hard limited those plans (limit on stock), I'm sure you could order a few without issues. I can give a +1 for ImpactVPS though, good service.

Considering a couple of those 256MB plans for caching/reverse proxies to my colo'd box at Incero Seattle.

They seem pretty new, but $3 is low enough to take a gamble. Says 100Mbps port, I'm guessing the upload is capped at 100Mbps?

    Cuopon expired? I see $7.50.

  • Alpharacks has some special deals here. I've got a $10/yr legacy deal with them (from RIJX times) with 2 IPs, but I guess they're not doing that any more. Also, they don't have a control panel where you can set tun/tap or rDNS, so I'm not sure those services are available. Their uptime has been good though.

A problem with services in this category (<$12 non NAT) is that they're usually out of stock. Check Lowendstock and you'll see what I mean.

Any UK VPS under $12 ? Any Location in UK will be Okay (Just I need the IPv4 to be geolocated in UK, I mean in IP Location it shows as UK). Mostly Preferred 512 MB Ram VPS With 15-20 GB Space & Minimum 100 GB Bandwidth :)
