Test Network & Provide Opinions/Results please? :)
Hey guys,
We just finished turning up a bunch of new stuff and I'd like to get a large test/review of the routes & latency so we can tune the network if there are any glaring problems.
Anyone interested in helping could you please perform traceroutes to: 104.255.32.139
You can also run reverse traceroutes back to you (very helpful, need to see the path both ways, especially if there is an issue) at http://lg.320tb.com
The network blend is the following:
- PCCW
- NTT
- Psychz (Blend of Comcast, Telia, HE, GTT, Zayo)
- ChinaTelecom
-- EU Peering at:
- AMS-IX
- LINX
- DE-CIX
- NL-IX
Thanks!!

@IgniteServers
Where is that test from?
Sorry, it is from San Fransisco CA.
Distance from SF to LA: 400 miles
Round-trip distance: 800 miles = 1,287,000 meters
Speed of light: 299,792,458 meters/sec
Minimum ms: 4.29 ms
eh?
Look at who's posting... He probably doesn't know where the servers he's selling are located...
I could say the same for you but I'm in no arguing mood, so ill just ignore your spam comment. Rather not clutter this guys thread with your nonsense.
Have a good day.

Pretty sure he thinks he's in SF too. He's in LA.
From Minneapolis Minnesota
Test was ran from IP 128.90.92.46 which is in SF - USA.
SWIP Info checks out.
I guess Gotzy's got some beyond-speed-of-light peering to SF. Or they haven't updated their SWIP information, they are based out of Pennsylvania.
Plus a cute little branch of CT from SharkTech...
Not bad. That's all.
BTW @IgniteServers, that test was run from LA. SWIP might have been an old one set by Unus, Inc. Your server is in LA.
The man says it's in SF! Let him believe!
Its not from a server its from my home ISP.
He peer in your bedroom? Your crap trace is making an otherwise OK network look a joke!
SJC to LAX is 7ms good day, please try again.
I don't see any of those routes coming across the IX's except as transit from third parties. I didn't see you join LINX and I am on that mailing list.
@rokok below shows what I see - transit via IXReach
Jakarta
So you forgot where you live now?
Some routes go through UK..
Ubiquity Los Angeles
Softlayer Houston
Linode New Jersey
Ramnode New york
Digital Ocean New York
Softlayer San Jose
Softlayer Seattle
Softlayer Washington DC
Leaseweb Manassas
Amanah Toronto
OVH Montreal
Linode Tokyo
EGI San Jose
GlobalFrag Los Angeles
Maybe it's running in the apartment next to @IgniteServer! That would explain the ping.

I think you might be a complete idiot.
You pinged the looking glass IP from the looking glass... Sheesh. One more reason to NEVER host with you.
@ItsChrisG - Seems like your network is pretty good so far apart from the routes going via UK...
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'm losing no sleep by you not hosting with me. Just though I would mention that before ignoring the rest of your post I'm sure will come after this.
