Intel Announces SSD DC P3608 Series

Intel is introducing a new family of enterprise PCIe SSDs with the aim of outperforming their existing DC P3600 series and even beating the DC P3700 series in many metrics.

  • Not something that anyone from the low end market will touch.

  • We've been using the P3700's for a while in our storage services as caches. They are fantastic. The P3608 maybe even better, but that articles says they are two separate units with a switch in front. We need to see in the realworld how that performs.
