To be honest now with the release of the 3 EUR Scaleway cloud there's much less of a reason to hoard Kidechires. The Scaleway ones are always available and really are a comparable value at their new pricing.
Ordered one. Any idea if I'll have to pay a foreign transaction fee, having paid with my US debit card?
I was too late, but maybe it's better that way. I didn't need one anyways.
yes, but how much depends on the bank. one of mine charges a few cents, the other charges the same as what the server costs
Depends on the bank's policy. My first 5 months or so incurred foreign transaction fees but then my bank suddenly stopped charging fees (probably because it became a regular payment).
I'm UK based though, not sure about US.
My WholesaleInternet $10 server had a lot more hours then that!
Ordered 10 last time.
I think ill pass. :P
Not sure...I paid with my Paypal Debit card that is connected to my bank account so in a day or so when the charge shows up I'll see what it is. Right now Paypal just shows a $1.56 pending charge from Online.net.
Got one too, thanks bro!
Too late
Let it go man,
Already have 3 doing nothing so far.
and its gone. i always seem to be missing these
I'm going to murder the first scalping cunt who starts offering these for rental.
This has been an advisory to the community.
$12 per month, coupon code NEKKI
Nice, hard drive is only 2 years old and no errors or reallocated sectors...I usually get drives from the dinosaur age.
Damn Community Advisors, they get away with murder at LET.
Missed this one for the nth time.
In all seriousness, it's a disgusting practice and completely at odds with a community spirit. Given the risks in doing it due to the fact the original owner gets billed for extras, I don't think threads offering outsourced ltd edition servers have any place here.
I got late stupid diarrhea
Removed as redundant
missed it again
Mine's hard drive spat out this:
Anyone with more intelligence that I have can give me some hindsight on the drive's health? What attribute to look out for?
I'm quite happy to assume that everyone missed it unless they've stated otherwise.
Pissing fuckarse double-cunting-post
@GM2015 - Your drive looks good to me. For comparison below is my WSI drive, not so good.
Your drive is fine, looks close to the one I got
Thanks anyway. Grabbed one.
Wow, your drive is almost at 7 years
Has anyone ever used one of these in production? What is their uptime like would just like to know
