Stunnel SSH on 443

herbyscrubherbyscrub Member
edited September 2012 in General

What does the traffic look like if I stunnel ssh on port 443?

Does it in any way look like normal https traffic on inspection?

Comments

  • https traffic does, ssh traffic looks like ssh traffic. In my hospital on the free patient wifi all other ports and protocols except http and https (80/443) are blocked. My stunnel https does work, ssh does not.

  • Yes, you'd get a traffic similar to HTTPS with stunnel.

  • And, it is SSL encrypted.

  • So, we can bypass the port blocked (ex 21, 2082, etc) by using stunnel?
    Thanks
