haha, what? You know the INSANE pricing difference in power in US and EU, right? Depending on region - especially US MidWest - This can EASILY be 400%.
What does France charge per kWh? I know they're mostly nuclear, but isn't that more expensive than coal?
Depends on commitment and location - Reason why OVH builds near power plants, huge baseload (= 24/7) gets discounted by government and energy companies.
France pricing for enduser business is around 13c/kwh - enduser private around 16c (2013). Austria business on the contrary is around 10, while private is 19 (2014). France puts much less tax on power than Austria/Germany/most of europe.
Well, I don't like US Server mostly, because of their long server rules, tos, dmca etc..us server jailed us.
But France, NetherLand , German & Also UK servers make us feel free, and also they ignore dmca.

But that's the thing, you can get power for 5c/kWh in the US. Hell, I know of a location where it's 4.25c/kWh on the east coast near New York.
They won't ignore a legitimate dmca report.

Not really, most of Europe, and especially the EU, has laws that put your company into danger once you have "knowledge" - DMCA notice = getting knowledge.
