VPS/Dedi for storage server (image hosting)
Hello guys, I'm looking for a VPS/Dedi provider to start an Image Hosting service.
As you well know the most of people upload prn on image hosting, so I need a provider that do allow legal prn in the case someone uploads it.
I don't need much ram or a big amount of cpu cores, I need only a lot of space, bandwidth and a good network (100Mbps will be great).
Min HDD: 1TB
Min BW: 5TB
Min Uplink: 100Mbps
Min Ram: 512MB
Min CPU: 1 core at least 2.0 ghz
I know there are a lot of minor provider here. Can you suggest me one, please?
My budged is 30/40 bucks.

Or for that price you could get yourself a box at Dacentec with a 2TB drive, or a pair of them (again: check the TOS)

Not good for porn either, technically you'd need to implement an age verification system in Germany - Porn that is legal mostly anywhere like hentai depicturing "minors" is also considered the same as real CP.
Okay. What about hosting in NL?
NL is excellent for porn, and you should be able to get something cheap - HostHatch maybe.
Would Scaleway's infinite storage be any good?
I don't think so... France is good for adult hosting?
However I'm looking for a dedi/vps.

As much as you don't like it, an object store is absolutely perfect in this application. You only have to worry about storage/bandwidth and just keep loading up the store with images and the store can display the images as native http.

It's legal. If guests upload illegal files, then I remove them.

Maybe you can go with Kimsufi (OVH), they have cheap dedicated servers. I didn't see anything about adult content in their ToS.

As long as it's legal you shouldn't have any issues. Have in mind that Scaleway's SIS has a flat price (0,02 EUR/GB) no matter how much bandwidth you use.
