  then,

  service exim restart

  Please mention the OS you are on... CentOS or Debian/Ubuntu?

  For Debian/Ubuntu with VestaCP I do this.

  #   disable IPv6 System wide in Kernel: 
  echo 'net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1' >> /etc/sysctl.conf
  echo 'net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1' >> /etc/sysctl.conf
  sysctl -p
  
  #   for Exim
  nano /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf
      dc_local_interfaces='127.0.0.1'
      disable_ipv6='true'
  service exim4 restart
