Maybe it will be nice to learn to configure the WIndows VPS for running IIS/PHP as webserver. Other than that, use it as backup server or RDP

I've only touched base with windows servers for a previous job, and I hated them. Granted, I didn't really know much about them other than a good number of support tickets that came in were related to windows mail servers or websitepanel on Windows...
Setup server services in windows is pain in the ass even using GUI.

Now now, i used open-sauce to change it up. Nearly everything these days is Open Source in some fashion.

you can learn installing all stuff for web server along with that free control panel - hosting panel. learn installing email server, ftp server etc.
if its too much or already done then,
use it for backups of your linux vps's through ftp
