Hello People

I am considering buying a vps from Leaseweb.I tested their available locations and here is the result

US- ping 259 ms,hops 16
NL-ping 292 ms ,hops 11
DE- ping 300 ms,hops 12

Considering I am on one of the network where my visitors will be,which location will be good to choose.

Where are you located/ which AS? Ping of 600 to Germany seems a bit high when you got 300 to NL

I am from India and using BSNL-AS9829 .Most of the visitors will be from India itself.
    Edit- 600 was a typo.It is actually 300

  • anybody?

  • There are indian DC's. I think you should consider one. Also you can use Sri Lankan DC because ping is low to india from Sri Lanka.

  • The bandwidth prices in India are really very high. Will get one of those locations from Leaseweb and use CDN for improving performance.
