We are pleased to announce the release of WHMCS 6.0.1.

We have some very exciting plans ahead for version 6, and work is already underway towards the 6.1 release which will see the introduction of a number of new order form choices.

Still don't quite trust it.
It is still very buggy. It would represent a risk for any serious company to upgrade their productive environment to WHMCS 6 at this moment.
I feel this has a little bit been "rushed"? just to get another product out the door for cPanel?

It'll be good eventually... a lot like this at the moment though. "eventually" doesn't cut it.
I thought this was originally supposed to be a part of 6.0.
AFAIK it was. They wanted to add some suspense to the release, I guess.
We have installed it on a development zone, an after few minutes, we have found over 5 fatal errors.
WHMCS support is answering to reports after 1-2 days, I don't think they are really interested to solve the errors we are reporting. They only care to advert this product.
But, at least the client interface it's simple and nice.
I actually just downgraded from 6 to 5. It's not because 6 is not great, but because of the module compatibility problems.
That's why you should always hold until you're sure that all your modules are updated
Personally, I am holding from upgrading because it 1) breaks my integration, 2) breaks a bunch of modules and 3) still doesn't have a responsive administrative interface.

I have a question. Beginning with version 6 the client has access to some Cpanel functions directly from the whmcs. What if Cpanel is a trial or it expires? Are they still active ? :-)
Will there be support for 5.x version? I have this major updates.

It looks like 6.0.1 not stable as 5.3.14 yet. Someone on WHT faced ticket issue.
