Cant use public ip when bridging in KVM centos

i cant use my public ip to bridge as in kvm guide. if i do my server wont ping up. whats the issue?

i used this tutorial to make kvm in my centos 7.

after configuring br0 when i restart my network it got stuck and i had to reinstall the whole os. anyway to solve this and install kvm on my centos 7. im new to this.

    Definitely wrong configuration with the br0 and eth0

  • what do you get for ifconfig -a?

  • If restarting dropped your connecting. You'll have to login using something like iKVM. Then delete any changes that you've made.
