Soyoustart , to get ECC or Not
Hello everybody , can any of you guys using servers from SYS tell me how reliable are the servers with non ECC RAM's for write heavy (mainly LNMP stack) projects ?
If you have used SYS server(s) for such projects , can you please tell me if you had any problems it , like DB getting corrupt or DB writes going wrong ?
If you need anymore info , please let me know .

You need ECC in servers, unless you don't care about potential crashes/data corruption. Read this paper: http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~bianca/papers/sigmetrics09.pdf
