  • Thanks, just got a LES SG.
Is anyone else having ipv6 connectivity issues? I can ping the gateway 2001:df1:800:xxx::1 from outside, but not from my VPS itself. ipv6 was working earlier, but seems to have issuse atm

Just tested ip6 from a few containers, no issues I can see.

    Nice one!

Thanks for checking. Not sure why, but I've resolved it by removing the ip and adding it back from control panel.

Ah ok, seen that a few times, seems to be an OpenVZ 'quirk'

Locations on my list I would love to offer but as yet have not found a suitable host are: Russia, Norway, Spain, India, on the surface it seems easy to find a host until you start going through the actual requirements.

  • @AnthonySmith India will not make list soon but i think russia can make it to the list very soon there there are many hosts good host in russia

I still am not 110% sure I will move it to Linode or when it will happen if I do, and I don't mind moving you twice :)

I for one hope you do since linode uses actual APNIC IPs. Would be highly useful for me since I need APNIC JP IPs to access some Japanese sites. For whatever reason many Japanese companies and sites only allow access to actual Japan IP blocks, some of them even only allow residential Japan ISP IPs to access as well. Somewhat annoying since I'm not in Japan right now.

I appreciate that, I am sure I can sort something out to make everyone happy.
