Need a dedicated server for gaming servers
I am looking to buy the cheapest possible dedicated server, I need it to host game servers. It must have a decent CPU and atleast 8 GB RAM (16 GB+ preferred), storage doesn't matter much. My budget is around $40/month, but it can be a little more if I really like a deal. I need the server to be hosted in Europe.
I'll only go with decent providers who can provide server for the long run.

I'd consider going with the second offer if it wasn't for the setup fee. Is setup fee a new addition to WorldStream? Just asking because the last time I ordered from there, you guys didn't have any setup fee. That was like a year ago btw.
The setup fee is a new option which can be choosed instead of the additional monthly fee. So you have two choices now, either the additional monthly fee or a setup fee.
What about OVH? SoYouStart have some decent offerings usually.
If you want to avoid OVH Online.net is a very good choice...
Hetzner is another option although their network isn't as great and the hardware is mostly desktop grade... (Use the server auctions)

and you hide VAT until you get to checkout (i.e don't advertise the actual real price). this is a huge putoff
How could they know what VAT to show you before you enter your details (and most importantly - Country)?
He's hosting game servers. You're gonna need an E3 for that.

@TarZZ92 total price will always differ when you select a different country. For me it would be more misleading if I say I sell you something for £30 and then at the checkout I would tell you that sorry, you came from a country with higher VAT rate, pay me £35.
