Location: both US and EU are acceptable...
Budget: <$60/mo, also should have no long contracts. Can live with setup fees.
Don't recommand OVH series.
I spotted Hetzner and servdiscount - do anyone have any experience with them?

Delimiter's X5150, L5420, L5520 units all have hardware RAID

What server spec you are expecting?
Try https://console.online.net/en/order/server_limited but ask them for HP instead Dell series.
X34xx, or some 1366 servers.
771 if comes with DDR3, also okay.
I am really curious about the difference between 201515 and 16, but they said no difference...
And HP / Dell are random. This maybe I can ask for Dell.
The server seems powerful as it comes with 64GB RAM...
@XIAOSpider97: What about storage, memory, bandwidth, IP, OS ?
Wait for dacentec $30 L5420 2x2TB stock & order it with HW RAID
HW RAID is not included in the price. It's an additional $30 if I recall.
http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-classic
or
http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-lt
It's $20/m.
I am not sure, but look like 201515 is Dell and 201516 is HP.
Both no HW raid.
Strange as I have the first one with a hardware RAID setup, sorry about that!
Am I the only one that dislikes hardware raid?
I suppose it depends on the complexity of the array.etc but for small arrays I much prefer JBOD and then using Software Raid.
Mostly because then you're not stuck with whatever proprietary format the raid controller uses and the OS knows exactly how to deal with the Raid array.
@MarkTurner do you do ip6 rdns delegation on request?
"Cheap" hardware RAID is often terrible. If you're running Linux, I'd at least look into mdadm.
It will happen this month, the mechanism is in place, but still needs pushing out to the subsidiaries toolsets.
nice one
Seriously, try the Hetzner Market.
I've got an E3-1275 with redundant power, 2x 300GB SAS drives in HW RAID 1, dedicated KVM (lantronix), 16GB ECC RAM, and an Intel NIC for €43.70/month (that's about $49/month). That's a steal if you ask me. It's been extremely fast, stable, and no downtime whatsoever.
BTW, there's one up for grabs now for € 44.54 with a price drop in about 5 minutes. Be quick if you want one.
Seems Hetzner is worth renting...
Now 43.7 Euros! Getting...
