Internet + Cable modem + Gigabit Switch + Computer (Ethernet) = unidentified network?
Computer (Ethernet) connects to Gigabit Switch (TP-LINK TL-SG108) connects to Cable Modem Zoom 5341J = unidentified network
If I do:
Computer (Ethernet) connects to Cable Modem Zoom 5341J = it works.
Any idea what happens when I connect to the Gigabit Switch? How do I fix it?

Well first of all, Why are you wanting to connect your modem to a switch? Without a router that is pointless...

If this is the right setup, then I won't be able to get the full speed from ISP. I have 150Mbps Internet plan.

But seriously, the issue is defined by the first reply. You must have a piece of equipment that connects to the cable modem and then provides network to other devices via NAT. You are not going to get an ip from the Cable modem because it is set to give only a single ip address out to the single MAC attached to it (in this case the switch and not your computer). So, without a router in between the cable modem and switch your setup will not work.

If your router only has a 100MB port then buy a Router that has a 1GB port

if you are going for TP-Link routers, don't expect to pull over 100mbps if you are going to be doing ipsec on the router itself. the processor on TP-Link routers are garbage.
