I am using Google Domains. For $12, it is not the cheapest. But the experience it really good.

I have a google apps domain which is with enom, only issue is not being able to create vanity NS. Do they allow glue records with google domain?
$12 is kinda pricey.. I would still rather buy the promo and transfer later, may not be worth it for just a domain but if you buy a few, its quite the savings.

as is with dozens of other providers when you don't have to pay that much. I think it's kinda stupid shave money on vps and then pay the difference to domain provider. but each to their own
