Ok, I got my server.. Took about 4-5 Hrs for delivery.
Some points:
HP - 500GB 7200RPM 3.5INCH model: MB0500GCEHE
Unless I'm reading it wrong looks to be a new Drive.. about 2 weeks old.
Tokyo's not looking great.. but everywhere else seems fine, also not too fond of the I/O..
Ok that's all for now.. have to get familiar with the unit first.. Thought I would share for anyone waiting for some specs.
@Scottsman
Update:
The I/O results above is with write caching disabled..
This is with write caching enabled:

@earl I think the server has 100Mbs port. How can you have > 12.5 MBs download speed?
That disk is worth more than the server Thats a G8 disk (SATA3) in a SATA1/2 system
What is the actual system?
@earl i have reported that, you should be able to switch from ubuntu to debian without paying and vice versa.
I'll get to to you as soon as i have more info.
Maybe cause I'm special.. :P
yeah, looks to be a 1Gbit port..
Making money from free os, i like it very much
Suppose to be dell r210.. while dd is not overwhelming but the server feels snappy. Probably need to enable cache or something.
Decent server I think.
@Jazzy8999 as i said it should be a reason or it is a mistake.
I will have an answer tomorow.
Actually I never went through with the whole process of reinstalling.. just reading from the previous comments so I assumed.
and Debian is perfect.. don't need Ubuntu. thanks thought.
I was referring to other OS's like centos that I got from this. I guess there a 19.99 euros install fee to load a different OS other that Debian and Ubuntu.
Supposed to be, but what is it in reality. Seems strange to put an HP branded disk into a Dell system especially given that the HP disk wasn't going to be a cheap option. As I said that disk is worth more than the system. One of those disks will cost about $150, the system you can pick up for $80.
You have to 'upgrade' for Centos
To change language to English in Debian..
dpkg-reconfigure locales
Check
en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8
Un-Check
fr_FR.UTF-8 UTF-8
Then click ok.
You need to reboot the server for the changes to take effect.
Happy Now!!
All the more reason you should buy one.. it's a good deal :P
@Jazzy8999 @Ikoula
I think it's a misunderstanding.. I have edited my post above.
No thanks, not with those IPMIs! Make sure your IPMI is disabled and not accessible. Otherwise you'll have idiots logging in and powering off your system. There are many well documented exploits for those systems.
@earl
i'm still waiting :-(
the OS reinstall fee is shocking.
i wish they would hurry up and deliver so i can decide to order more or just leave it.
It was a joke, I didn't buy any :P
Yes I recalled the DRAC's had that issue.. Thought it was just the older GEN.. Good to know.. Fortunate for me then this server does not come with DRAC.
@Scottsman
If you're looking to install centos, you can do a remote install via VNC.. if you bork it you can always use the reset feature to get Debian or Ubuntu back.
Grub is different but this is the steps.

Much Much Better!!
Does that stay after a reboot?
Good question, let me check..
Update:
It sure does!!
Is the first IP free?
YUP!
Gosh damnit.. I don't know what to do haha
How much is the tax/VAT? Does it depend what country you are registering from?
I hear ya!
I for one has accepted my addiction and embrace it openly it's only money.
Sorry I didn't pay VAT so can't help you there.. better PM @ikoula, but I'm sure he's busy too.
new test results:
Alright I deposited money into my Ikoula account, but I am not able to pay my order it seems.. or I don't see a button.
I'm not really familiar with their panel yet.. but I saw my total for the server which was 21.98 euros under "Account and billing management" -> account balance.
I just clicked it and it gave me options for payment.
As a European host, it should.
I was keen until I saw EU2.50 per additional IP...
