Best Desktop to install on a VPS?

Hi I bought the $13/year VPS from Crissic http://lowendbox.com/blog/crissic-2-year-anniversary-13year-512mb-openvz-3month-512mb-kvm/

512MB RAM
512MB vSwap
3 vCPU cores
100GB HDD space
2TB transfer
1x IPv4
16x IPv6

What would be the best desktop to install. LXDE/Gnome etc..

    You're going to want something extremely lightweight. LXDE is a good choice for this, or something like fluxbox or i3 would be good as well.
