I call a vote for a unanimous decision to retire this, now severely played out hosting design template. I'm seeing it evvverrryyyywhere - but have yet to find where to actually buy it or download it from? _(someone just linked me to it, preview above)_
Someone please (for the community 
) design a new, good looking hosting template and release it so we can shake up a few hundred hosting websites.

Yes, I agree with you. That template is seen everywhere. I would make a new one if I had the skills to do so. Someone make a new one!!
Not saying my site template isn't overused, it is. Im pushing to get a new one though..
The template has sold over 1200 times @ $16 a pop. Someone go make a new design and score an easy $22K.

The reason it's hot, is because it's a WHMCS template. There are very few good looking ones, especially ones that are responsive.

To be honest I think themes like this are great, it lets you spot the hosts with no imagination which often then reflects on their service delivery.
On themeforest you can find so many templates that are not host specific but can be tailored very quickly to appear so with a little effort even for people with no design ability.

Actually, Envato takes 30 - 50% based off how much you've sold. So, this guy has earned more like $25,000 - $30,000 total off of his $40K+ in sales (total) over the past three years. Granted, the author lives in India where that would be a pretty decent salary, especially since most of the work is one and done.
