In need of backup VPS
Looking for the following for a backup VPS:
500GB HDD
512MB or more RAM
KVM (Don't want OpenVZ)
2TB monthly bandwidth (95% incoming)
At least 100Mbps network
Location: Anywhere on earth
Will pay yearly if provider is reputable/has in business for at least 2 years.
Budget: Lowend friendly
Comments
Maybe not the cheapest compared to ones like Time4VPS, but look at BuyVM's storage plans. They're the only relatively cheap storage VPS that use KVM that I know of, the rest I know are OpenVZ.
We offer a 500GB KVM option for $7/month -- https://mnx.io/pricing for more details.
MNX.io US $7
LetBox US $7
ZXHost $9.5 EU free incoming
HostHatch US/EU $10
Prometeus $10.6
Backupsy US/EU $12
i can do this for 55$/year, we are located in Romania . Please pm if is ok for you.
ImpactVPS storage plan is an excellent option.
@tragic had something like this buried in one of the crazy weekend threads. $40-50 IIRC
@vimalware thanks for the mention. How does the following look to you @Drukpa ?

Can recommend the SpeedyKVM plan, great performance for the price
@SpeedyKVM_Ryan - prices (especially with that promo) look nice, and can definitely vouch for the Incero service.
Can a plan be upgraded later on with the same discount?
You will need to order the plan that you need. We don't offer an upgrade path with this pricing.
Thanks (though the yearly pricing breaks down to the same as the monthly with the promo, can always do that).

where are server located?, forget it i see Dallas, TX
Deal looks good.
Can I try for a month paying the monthly rate, and then move to the yearly plan after the first month, or am I stuck with the same rate?
Is the same rate, but we got 50% off
Why would you want top move to yearly if the montly price is the same as the yearly (with promo code)?
i-83.net still has some 250GB plans at Falkenstein, Germany at 11.25 GBP per year (about 14 USD) using coupon NATCM16-S250. They are ipv6 with some NAT ipv4 proxy ports, no dedicated ipv4, which should be fine for most backup purposes. See:
I have two of them (one at Falkenstein, one at Beauharnois which is now out of stock) and both are great for the price.
