  • @rectified I think you should check the disk, since with more users come in, seems the I/O is terrible now

    root@vps:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=4k conv=fdatasync
    4096+0 records in
    4096+0 records out
    268435456 bytes (268 MB) copied, 23.4239 s, 11.5 MB/s

even HDD shouldn't be so slow

Please check now, it's getting better again, the problem was there was big order of multiple VPS so multiple templates disk were being resized etc... which caused it

Yes it will keep changing every few seconds depending upon I/O use by all the VPS on the server, currently there is no lag or any problems with the VPS:

    [root@vps1 ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=4k conv=fdatasync
    4096+0 records in
    4096+0 records out

    Hi
Just sign up with CentOS OS then you can install FreeBSD from ISO available under your VPS Control Panel or if you want we can install it for you, you just need to submit a ticket from our website for it

  • @hotsnow Please check now, we tweaked the SSD RAID a bit and now performance has increased many times more

    [root@vps1 ~]# !dd

  • So far, I'm happy with my low end host with these guys. They setup my ISO and access rather quickly, and although the SSD has been a bit on the slow side (did a cvsup ports, sys-src, and took almost an hour to delete afterwards), the machine itself is quite usable.

How many IPv6 do you need ? if you need 3-4 additional IPv6 we can give it for free, but if you need more let us know how many?

    Thanks

  • @WSS @hotsnow and everybody else having Disk I/O issue please reboot your VPS from the VPS Control Panel then check it again, it should be much better now, it was a Guest Disk Cache Issue which is now fixed, but this setting won't come effect till the VM/VPS is rebooted

    Thanks

No problem, will give it for free, jus submit a ticket once you have ordered your VPS

  • @rectified seems no any effect, rebooted both from panel and vps, even worse now.

Temporarily we have stopped accepting orders for Trial Package, we will start accepting orders again most likely next week, waiting for our new VPS Node to be ready, though we will continue to accept orders for all other packages

  • @rectified I'm not sure if it's better. You graciously let me load OpenBSD on mine, which by default reorders entry points in libraries for extra security. It took so long to come back that I ended up loading VNC to make sure it didn't break. I don't usually do that for machines that have no load.

  • @rectified Much speedier so far, at least for writes. Added another host. Thanks!

Thanks, moreover we are working on a permanent fix, but it will take a few days, we are adding a new node, then we will move some VPS on the new node (there won't be any downtime as the new node will be also on same network and same facility, even IP will remain same) then we need to reconfigure RAID on this node for a permanent fix, but there will be hardly any downtime, and if there will be any downtime we will update all affected clients

We expect it all to be done latest by end of next week

  • Can you give a heads' up when you've got more goodies? :) I'm still having problems receiving your messages to gmail, and now since Satish graciously bound my accounts, I can't login since I did a password reset on the old one. :D

Hi you may order more VPS if you want, looks like our last tweak worked, we are constantly monitoring the server and Disk I/O doesn't to goes under 90 MB/s anymore, mostly between 100-200 MB/s, though we are working on making it go over 300 MB/s hopefully once we get our new node and reconfigure RAID, it should take it over 300MB/s

Also I've reset your billing password again, kindly check your email including junk mail/spam folder
