If your websites are optimized (not many plugins) and you know what you're doing, use NAT from i-83.net @i83 and LES. Cheap + Enough locations to cover your needs.
One way of doing things is using Buyshared to host 1 site and also to host the databases for the other WPs hosted on the NATs by allowing remote access = No MySQL on the VPSs.

I checked just the first 3 - 5 sites on each server, saw porno and pharma sites.. is that allowed? I know $1/yr is absurd but if your TOS allows such sites then it is what it is. I am just mindful of the neighborhood I host my sites.
