[REQ] PowerKVM - IBM Power Architecture

Hey everyone,

I know this is a long shot but I'm trying to convert an application to the below architecture and don't want to fork out hundreds of dollars for development CPU time. For reasons, this can not be emulated on a system with different architecture.

A RunAbove Power8 VM by the hour would have been perfect when they were offering them but it looks like you can't get them anymore.

VZ Type: PowerKVM

CPU Architecture: IBM Power

Number of Cores: 1

RAM: 512MB

Disk Space: 5GB

Disk Type: ANY

Bandwidth: 10GB

Port Speed: 10Mbps

DDoS Protection: Not required

Number of IPs: 1 or NAT

Location: Literally anywhere. Could be in your basement for all I care.

Budget: $30 USD/month

Billing period: Monthly (Prefer hourly)

Not exactly but it's tough to get POWER8 at LEB prices...

https://lightedge.com/ offers POWER8 (and POWER7 and probably other POWER architectures) virtualization, although it's not going to be at LET prices. I don't know how close you can get though; they charged a $700 million a year company in the range of $xxx,xxx per year.

Thanks for that, the soyoustart server is the cheapest I have found. Not looking in the LEB price range just not hundreds of dollars a month.

Regarding Polarhome, I can vouch for it.
The form to get a server is in "Root shell." Scroll down to the bottom, there should be a link to a application form that you can send to the support email.
Keep in mind I haven't used it either but it seems to have a lot of users that could probably vouch for it.
