The previous one was removed because there weren't direct links to the eligible locations. I've updated the post to meet the criteria, with approval.

  • All ubuntu templates in rio are unsupported already (you only offer 15.04 there...)

Let me have the guys get 16 on there ASAP.

    Any chance for 14.04?

Sure. I'll ask for both LTS releases, @teamacc. That's what we're supposed to have - the latest, and previous LTS release for each OS.

Could you take a look at ticket #2008?

    edit: done, thank you.

Are these KVM or openvz based VMs?

Seems like Rio is KVM at least, got kernel 3.13.x

They'll be KVM or Xen. I can tell you exactly, if you're interested in a specific location.

Keep in mind, we work a little bit differently than most hosting companies. We own none of the infrastructure, rather everything is sourced through the OnApp federation. We still have great relationships with all the providers, as you would if you were colo'ing or leasing a dedicated server. But ultimately due to the way the infrastructure is sourced, there will be some variance in hardware and configuration.

  • After adding a credit card, will my credit be topped up by $25 dollar automatically (or have a minimum $25 top-up amount) even after disabling auto-top-up?

Or will it be true pay-as-you-go on a monthly basis, without any wallet-credit?

Top ups are only done by you, unless you select the auto top up function. We would never automatically enroll you into auto top up. The minimum top up amount right now is $25 - right now the guys are re-designing the deployment page [Sneak peak: Terry's initial wire frame job] and adding cPanel licensing. After that we will be re-doing billing so there is a lower top up amount option, or the ability to select "top up for invoice amount."

  • Any ETA for custom top-up and ETA for 14.04 LTS on Rio?

    Custom top-up - won't be until Q1 '17

I would expect templates added today/tomorrow, at the latest.

Thanks. Not important now. Would be nice to have that information available as part of the comparison.

  • Thank you for adding the templates.

Any way to see traffic usage, aside from the mbps plot?

What does "cpu usage" mean in the control panel? Percentage of a core used?

Traffic usage, unfortunately not yet. I'm not sure how we missed this in beta, and then for a year, but it's on it's way.

CPU usage is percentage of core used.

CPU usage is percentage of core used.

Would be nice if you added that percentage thing. At the moment I'm just using "5 cpu".

Also, after using a certain amount of bandwidth I got an email stating that you charge for bw overage. How am I supposed to know how much I'm over the bw allocation if you dont supply said information?

    Edit: FAQ page broken: https://feedback.cloud.net/knowledge-base

This also breaks the TOS page, which is unreadable at the moment: https://feedback.cloud.net/knowledge-base/article/terms-of-service

This due to mixed-content. Your feedback.cloud.net site is on https, but most elements in there are non-https, so firefox refuses to load the page fully.

    Thanked by 1OnApp_Terry

Working on fixing this as we speak. The feedback site is hosted with a 3rd party service that allowed us to do feature voting. Unfortunately it seems like it is an abandoned service now.

16.04 still not on there (Rio location). Don't need it, but thought I'd follow up.

    Feedback page also still broken.

Available/used bandwidth still not being displayed.
