Reliable small VPS in germany
Hello,
im looking for a reliable VPS in germany. I tried many small hosts and many of them really suck (currently at myvirtualserver.com and they have packageloss guarantee every evening).
I will need 256MB (prefer 512MB) of RAM, CPU doenst really matter, 5GB Disk (10GB is even better) and 500GB traffic @ atleast 100 MBit/s. Can be KVM/OpenVZ/XEN whatever.
Thats it for now. I would not spend more than 3 Euro per month ($3,20).

There's ProviderService who also have a sub-brand called UltraVPS. Both have VMs starting from 2euro.
As @BeardyUnixGuy said, we can offer the following:
UltraKVM-15
2 EUR per month incl. 19% VAT (1.68 EUR/1.81 USD excl. VAT)

@Multi if you are still looking for a VPS in Germany, we can offer you the following:
1CPU @ 3.4Ghz
728Mb of RAM
1IPv4
IPv6 available as well
15GB HDD
1TB BW/m
OpenVZ virtualization
$3USD/m minimal contract would be 3 months.
Let me know if this works for you!
Check https://myvirtualserver.com/ it's a good cheap one with anti-DDoS by Voxility. You can create a ticket and sometimes even get a custom setup with a nice price.
Dude, OP already with them and according to him they are low-quality.
arubacloud: https://www.arubacloud.com/vps/virtual-private-server-range.aspx
Shit, my fault then.
I've got 4 servers there and never had any issues. I've got a stable latency 24/7. Maybe you're getting DDoS'ed. Have you tried to create a ticket?
I was about to mention ProviderService/UltraVPS too…
Multiple times. And according to their panel I dont get hit by DDOS. Tried two different node both with similar problems. Some evenings its fine some its almost down.
you can get a testserver at https://www.active-servers.com/testserver.php thats interwerks own brand and the dc where myvirtualserver is located. just test if its an myvirtualserver problem or its just some interwerk problem. if you have the same packet loss at the testserver maybe interwerk can directly fix the problem.
512MB @ $2.4/mo

I would recommend ProviderService/UltraVPS. The folks there definitely know what they're doing!
Thanks for the suggestions. Tried some of the hosts and went with Arubacloud. They seem to be reliable so far.

You can try ArubaCloud, they have Euro 1/month for 1 GB ram VPS, VMware.
Hello Multi,
I'm working for myVirtualserver.
We are sorry that you have had some issues with our service in the past. I guess our support wasn't aware of that your server is down multiple times a day. We provide great service and customer service to our customers and want to make it even better. Unfortunately, I can't talk about some of the new features we're currently working on, but we would like to take another look at your case. If you don't mind, please open another support ticket or reply to an old one and I can guarantee you, that either we will solve the problem within an adequate time-frame or make a refund of the last monthly price you have paid.
I apologize for all the inconveniences you have had.
Best regards,
Phinitris
