Using pfSense VM with Proxmox to firewall public IP (for online.net dedicated server)
I have 1 public ip.
I have two bridges, vmbr0 and vmbr1. vmbr1 is LAN (not bridged to any device) and vmbr0 is the public IP (bridged to eth0).
I changed vmbr0 to manual and removed the IP. Proxmox is using vmbr0 as WAN.
I changed the MAC address of Proxmox's WAN to be the same of the dedicated server. But I cannot get pfSense to get an IP from online.net.
On Proxmox, dhclient -v vmbr0 works fine, but doesn't seem to work for the pfSense VM ? Any ideas?
