But it's not in Austria: Wädenswil (Switzerland) / Nürnberg (Deutschland/Germany)
You are right, sorry fot the spam.
Try this - https://internex.at/de/server/virtual-server-vserver-vps/
I dont know why @William do not colocate some servers in some databse in Austria? He knows everyone of them.
He already left through Jordan border. No kangaroo in Wien but some nice horses exist.
@dediserve may be a choice they have an 5 euro thing
I actually have servers in AT still (World4You, M247, Anexia, EDIS, Nessus...) and tried to get colo but it makes no economic sense:
Rack in Vienna is 400-750EUR depending on DC
Cheaper DCs have generally cheaper power (Nessus, Datasix) but higher BW prices (3-5EUR/Mbit instead of 1-2EUR/Mbit)
Power costs 19-25c/kwh (~40-55EUR/A 220V)
On the contrary, a rack in Bratislava (45min from Vienna) costs 300-500EUR and power is 17-20c/kwh... bit more further in Budapest (2hr) a rack is available from 150EUR and power is 15-18c/kwh.
BW prices are the same in the east as is the carrier choice by now.
I'm not going to pay 25%+ premium for not even 10ms distance on literally the same fiber link it would use inside Austria anyway in the end...
We offer VPS in Australia:

... really?
Still no kangaroos there..
Can you please share the company name? Thanks.
Shouldn't make a difference.
The default price for a rack in Victor Hugo 18-22 (Sztaki, which houses the Budapest internet Exchange and consequently is usually called just "BIX" + a few floors of DC equipment as the core of West/Central Hungary) is ~50000 HUF or ~160EUR, resellers start at 60-80k HUF (200EUR~), eg Deninet (the website lists rent for space and rack additional but i have offers w/ rental in same $ range):
https://www.deninet.hu/szerver-hosting
Yeah, central Europe latency to the South Pacific is barely noticeable.
Deninet offers high capacity and DDoS protection, but we had experience where Telia upstream blackholes the IP being attacked at around 25Gbps~. Magyar Telekom is more resilient.
Dediserve uses anexia iirc.
You should consider Australia instead.
(not a serious post).
;-)
And Telavi instead Tel Aviv
Hehe, not quite the same distance but yeah... same thing right? :-)
hm? I have my own protection, i just buy colo and a crossconnect. And seriously, at Deninet/Uplink prices you can't expect ANY protection.
Network, yes - however Anexia usually refers to the DCs in Klagenfurt and Interxion while Dediserve is in the much cheaper Datasix, also owned by Anexia but on a different quality level.
If I'm not mistaken they claim that they have servers in the Interxion on their website.
Could actually be (Anexia has Interxion), need to check. Quality wise it is not worlds either, Datasix is perfectly fine. Just power is cheaper...
Anexia has a nice network page https://www.anexia-it.com/map/ 67 locations worldwide and every one has a testip with a testfile and also a looking glass page on every location
perfect for some network tests
