Set up icecast 2.4.3 on centos 6_64

leonaleona Member

Anyone, and I mean anyone have success installing icecast on an updated centos with ices and icegenerator on openvps. I installed it and I could remote connect to the server and broadcast but never get the icecast to play mp3 files from the server.

I installed ices and icegenerator but somethings stopping icegenerator from installing and creating a directory and files.

I followed the install from https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-install-a-streaming-audio-server-with-icecast-2.3.3-on-centos-6.3-x86_64-linux.

I find the dag http://apt.sw.be/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt file no longer available.

This link http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm dead as well.

Whats going on with these dead repositories.
