[SOLVED] Having problems upgrading firmware on my 9211-4i
Any LSI junkies here?
I'm having a bit of a problem trying to upgrade the firmware on my 9211-4i, since it is acting wierd when I modify its properties (just going back to the main screen when trying to make a RAID-10 array). Windows is detecting the card just fine, but the sas2flash utility isn't. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Thanks!

What does the Driver tab say? Can you post a screenshot of the Details tab with the drop-down box on "Hardware Ids"

I had a weird problem like this when I was crossflashing my LSI card. I made a USB DOS bootdisk and ran it from there instead. Seemed to work fine that way.
Are you running cmd as Administrator?
That worked, thanks. BIOS flashed successfully.
Lmao. Damn wasted time making my bootable USB. I have no idea why, but I have so much trouble making them.
MegaRAID isn't letting me create a virtual drive, even though I have 4 2TB hard drives connected. The link is just grayed out. (Yes, I have ran it as administrator)
Oops, I lost track of this thread sorry about that!
@mnpeep can you post a screenshot of MegaRAID's "Logical" tab?
Here you go:

Device Port Count = 0 ?
Is there a reason why you need to create the drive using the app instead of the BIOS config tool?
No clue, SAS cable is there and everything... rebooting doesn't help...
Yes, I am unable to create a RAID-10 array in the SAS Configuration Utility as well. When hitting enter, it just returns to the menu instead of creating the array.
