Did anybody use WD ssds?

Are they good?

    Seems to be consumer/laptop focused

  • Will check the forum's links

  • and marvel controllers...

  • I like the price point but will wait until the next model from them to try it. They recently bought Sandisk so these are most likely "we need to get moving on making a return on our investment, so slap our label on the existing offering and call it our own new product!" with all of the positives and negatives of such.

As Western Digital took over SanDisk and the "new" WD Blue SSD is basically just a SanDisk X400 with another label (and firmware?), you might find some long-time experiences in the web about them.

What next, they finally release other wonders such as the electric light bulb and horseless carriages?

Little late to the game WD . . . but better late than never, I guess.

  • Well

    I have a samsung 750 evo 120 GB.....going good....

But I was looking to add 240 or 256 gb of ssd space to my home use :-)
